About Lara
Lara first tried yoga when she was training for a half marathon, but it wasn’t until years later, when her father was suffering from early on-set Alzheimer’s, that she took another yoga class that changed her life. She looked up at the ceiling in Warrior I pose and could somehow feel her father looking down at her. That was the moment she realized yoga was more than just a physical practice. It was mindful, emotional, and at the risk of sounding cheesy…maybe even spiritual.
Lara found that she kept returning to yoga during tough times in her life, so she signed up for yoga teacher training. She is now a 500-hour certified yoga teacher. She has been teaching in yoga studios, gyms, offices and on retreats since 2019. In 2021, she went back to school to earn a certification in Health Coaching and Human Performance through Seminole State College. She now marries both certifications to offer a 360-degree approach to overall health and wellness, advising on physical fitness, diet, time management, relaxation techniques and mindset shifts.
You only have one life, and Lara works to help others learn how to make it longer, more balanced, healthier and happier, one breath at a time.
